Raceboard Worlds 2007
Posted On:  04/10/2007 10:54:43 AM

67 competitors from 10 countries, 3 continents, have registered in Mendoza and perfect conditions have enabled 6 races so far.  One discard now comes into play.

Lightweight Mariano Reutemann (ARG 8) leads the overall results on his Phantom 380.  However, his three bullets, a second and a third are matched by heavyweight Paolo Dos Reis from Brazil sailing an RS:X.  Only the discarded result decided which way round they should appear at the top of the leaderboard and nothing to do with the fact that Mariano is just 10 days older than Paolo!

Pierre Loquet from France and current men's champion Patrik Pollak (SVK 1) occupy third and fourth places both on Warp 380.

18 year old Patricia Castro from Brazil heads the ladies fleet with five bullets although Demita Vega de Lille from Mexico is pushing hard in second place.

All to play for . . .
