This 8 day regatta, which started on the 9th of August has had windsurfers from 16 countries competing in 10 or 11 thrilling races depending on the fleet. The regatta finished today with stormy conditions, which really tested the sailors. Some of the youngsters did not start and some had decided to come back after struggling in the first race.
The Raceboard Europeans was an exciting event with the local Max Wojcik taking the gold and Paco Wirz from Italy in second just behind Max. The Raceboard Masters saw Paco well ahead of the other competitors. Germany's Frank Spoettel came in second first in Grand Masters, and French sailor Jean Asia third and first in Veteran fleet.
