Yesterday, 18th, a perfect sunny day on the Cote D'Azur - but unfortunately NO wind.

But today, at last, the wind arrived; time to finalise 2 races for men and one each for women and youth.

Serge Rouanne, president of race committee, commented: "Of course we would have liked more races, but in the end a mix of light and medium wind races to verify a worthy champion of Europe.  I must commend the club, Societe Nautique de Bandol, and its team of volunteers for the excellent management of the regatta."Maxime Lhuillier( FRA 218) - youth, and CelineNoyer (FRA 27) -women, held on to their overnight leads to take their places on top of the podium.

In the men's championship Pierre Loquet (FRA 93) capped a good day to overtake Nicolas le Gal (FRA 115) and claim the title.
