Bandol Race Report - Day 3
Posted On:  17/04/2007 7:57:47 PM
Two races today, except for the women's fleet, and enough races completed for a valid championship.

Light winds were the order of the day. The sea breeze failed to materialise but, although light, around 7/8knots, the wind was constant in strength and direction.

Chairman of the Race Committee, Serge Rouanne, was accompanied on the starting vessel by France Raceboard Class President, Jean Francois Reggio, "JF".

JF commented: " the race committee did a good job today - 'not more, not less' - resisting the temptation to try for third race!"

No change at the top of the men's fleet but clearly in these light winds the Exocet Warp 380 is an effective tool, Patrik Pollak posting 2 second places. However with another win in the second race today Nicolas Le Gal remains in pole positon.

In the women's fleet Celin Noyer maintains her lead, whilst in the youth fleet Maxime Lhuillier leapfrogs the Congar Scalabrin duo to take the lead.
