Day 6 - two more races, and the title chase is hotting up!
Posted On:  23/11/2006 11:52:15 AM

After a further two races today at the 2006 King Power Raceboard World Championships the title chase is getting closer between the top 3!

Patrik Pollak from Slovakia (SVK 1) maintains his overnight lead over Riccardo Giordano from Italy (ITA 12); but Tak Sum Wong "Sam" from Hong Kong (HKG 11) closed the gap on the leading two with a first and a second place in today's races.

A consistent performance from Arun Homraruen (THA 9) keeps him in touch with the leaders; as does top youth racer Navin Singsart (THA 20) now in 5th place overall.

Six countries are represented in the Top Ten.

Further down the field are the "hybrid" racers clearly at a disadvantage against the "longboards" in the light wind conditions experienced so far.

Leading Starboard Phantom sailor is Phanutaat Ruamsap (THA 3); first Exocet Kona Piyawat Panbuddee (THA 27).

With 2 further days of racing to follow the title is by no means decided!
